Areas Identified for Development
An assessment of development opportunities within West Thurrock Riverside, based on technical work and discussions with key stakeholders including landowners, utility providers Statutory Agencies, identified four clusters of sites for which development options have been produced.
The clusters are as follows:
- Area 1 (Purfleet Waterside, Esso/ Cobelfret/ Unilever/ Purfleet Farm)
- Area 2 (Sites around West Thurrock Marshes SSSI, Vopak/ Industrial Chemicals/ N- Ashfield)
- Area 3 (The eastern end of London Road, Schoolfield Road / Manor Road
- Area 4 (Sites fronting St. Clements Way/ Oliver Close and Oliver Road)
