Central Government and Agencies

European Commission directives such as the Water Framework, Landfill and Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Directives continue to drive environmental policy developments in the UK. Legislation, policy and strategy will continue to develop in areas such as sustainable development, climate change, renewable energy, land use planning, environmental impact assessment, contaminated land, noise, water quality, environmental management, air quality, resource efficiency and flood management.

Entec works with government departments and agencies, and at European Commission level, to assist with policy analysis and formulation (including research), technical support and identification, and dissemination of best practice.
