Entec Appoints New Principal Consultant in Waste Management

Entec has appointed Linda Ovens as a Principal Consultant to lead and grow Entec’s waste management team in Scotland. Linda will be based in the Glasgow office where she will also assist existing waste management teams in Northwich, Shrewsbury and Reading.

Linda has extensive experience in the waste industry with her main expertise lying in strategic advice to both public and private sectors. Recently she has concentrated on the implementation and improvement of kerbside collection schemes and the preparation and delivery of long term procurement contracts.

Linda rejoins Entec after four years away pursuing her career as a waste management consultant through positions with Enviros Aspinwall and SLR Consulting in Edinburgh.

Francis Crozier, Entec’s Director of Waste Management, says “Linda’s appointment in Scotland is a strategic recruitment as it comes at a time when we anticipate significant growth of work in the waste sector as the Landfill Regulations start to take effect.”
