Press Release
Entec Appoints New Associate Director in Waste Management

Issue date: 5 August 2004

Entec has appointed Ian Warby as an Associate Director to lead the development of its landfill business and increase Entec’s position within the waste sector. Ian will be based in the Shrewsbury office and this role will include the project management of larger projects, while providing the project direction to others within the waste group. It is also anticipated that he will support waste engineering projects including CAS's, WTS's, and MRF's.

Ian formerly worked for CL Associates (CLA), where he was Associate Director for waste matters with responsibility for the business development of this sector across all CLA offices. This followed a successful spell as manager of the CLA Birmingham office. Prior to that, he was a hydrogeologist for West Midlands County Council and West Midlands Waste Management Co-ordinating Authority.

Entec’s Waste Management Director, Francis Crozier said: “Despite the requirement for diversion of waste away from landfill we continue to see a high demand for consultancy services in the landfill sector and the wider waste infrastructure sector. Ian brings a wealth of experience to Entec where he can build on our existing broad range of landfill and waste infrastructure services.”
