Entec Appoints New Water Management Principal Consultant

Entec has appointed Fabio Spaliviero as a Principal Consultant within the Water Management group at the Reading office. He will focus on broadening Entec’s client base with respect to flood modelling and flood risk assessment, particularly for the south of England. Fabio will also be assisting in the co-ordination of the surface water modelling strategy to identify gaps and opportunities in the UK market.
Fabio has extensive experience in hydraulic aspects of civil engineering projects and project management, carrying out hydraulic modelling studies such as drainage networks and river modelling.
Fabio formerly worked for Jacobs Engineering where he was instrumental in delivering flood risk mapping projects for the Environment Agency in the UK. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant lecturer in hydraulics in Spain and as a Research Engineer at HR Wallingford.
Entec’s Water Management Associate Director, Bill Finlinson
said: “Fabio joins us at a really interesting time and is part of our
growing hydrology team in the south. He has particular objectives to co-ordinate
and develop our river modelling capability across Entec as well as helping grow
flood management business in the south, south-east and south-west.”
