New Risk Management Consultant Joins Entec

Entec has appointed Avtar Barhey as a Senior Consultant based in the London office. Avtar has been a safety and risk management consultant for over five years and combines experience in environmental impact assessment with quantitative risk assessment skills.

He has joined Entec from AIG where he was a Risk Consultant undertaking risk assessments for employer, product or public liability policy holders. Prior to this Avtar worked for Det Norske Veritas as a Risk Management Consultant and more recently as Operations Manager at Trident Consultants where he was responsible for projects from lead generation through proposal to delivery.

Peter Waite, Entec’s Technical Director, says: “Avtar will strengthen Entec's expanding Safety and Risk Management team. His primary role will be carrying out risk assessment for oil, gas and chemical plants but he will also be looking at expanding Entec's work in risk assessment and analysis.”
