Entec Appoints New Director in Contaminated Land

Entec has appointed Walter Robertson as Director of the Contaminated Land group. He will be based in the Shrewsbury office and is responsible for maintaining and developing Entec’s position as one of the leading providers of contaminated land consultancy in the UK.
Walter formerly worked for GeoDelft Environmental where he has spent the previous 8 years as a business manager and latterly as Managing Director.
Walter joins Entec with over 20 years experience in environmental management gained both in industry and commercial consultancy. In particular, he has worked within the UK minerals and landfill industries, as well as providing specialist advice on land contamination for residential, commercial and industrial development.
A Chartered Geologist, registered auditor and a SiLC (Specialist in Land Condition), Walter has also been a director of Cheshire and Warrington Economic Alliance; a sub-regional partnership of the NWDA, for the last 2 years.
