Entec Appoints New Associate Director in Energy Services

Entec has appointed Alan Mathewson as an Associate Director to head-up the wind energy team. He will be based in the Edinburgh office and be responsible for building upon the services currently offered by Entec to existing customers, while working with the rest of the team to develop the client base, in particular with regard to project management services during the construction and operational phases of wind farm developments.

Alan has a vast and broad range of experience gained at senior level across several industries, including offshore oil and gas, MoD, international engineering consultancy and power generation.

He formerly worked as an independent consultant providing strategic level services to a diverse range of companies primarily at boardroom and senior management level. His main focus during this time was in the development of both onshore and offshore wind farms in the UK . Prior to this Alan worked for British Energy as a senior manager in their business development team with specific responsibility for renewable and environmental projects.
