OGCbuying.solutions Appoints Entec

Entec has been appointed to the Environmental Advice, Support and Delivery framework for OGCbuying.solutions, an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce. The framework will run for the next four years and will be used to provide multi-disciplinary professional and technical services across the public sector. OGCbuying.solutions seeks to provide public sector customers access to a full range of private sector consultancy skills, which they may require to assist them in the whole life procurement of property and construction interests.
Entec will work in partnership with OGCbuying.solutions to implement best practice across the public sector and in particular apply the principles of the Achieving Excellence in Construction initiative. In responding to the specification for the framework, Entec was not only able to meet the requirements for 29 stated service categories (ranging from archaeological services to waste management) but also offer an additional 11 services including town and country planning, corporate responsibility and sustainable energy services.
Entec’s Richard McLaren, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer environmental advice through this framework to new and existing public sector customers.
