Entec Appoints New Director for Construction and Transport Sectors

Entec has appointed Rob Whittle as the Director to lead its construction and transport sectors. Rob is based in the Reading office from where he will collaborate with Entec’s consultancy managers to further develop Entec’s solutions-based services to clients in construction and transport, in order to grow Entec’s business in these sectors across the UK. In particular, Rob will have a key role in customer relationship management, new service and product development, and integrated service delivery to this client base.
In addition to his sector role, Rob will play an active part in expanding Entec’s business in the South East, working alongside established teams and some of the more recent strategic senior recruits brought into the Reading and London offices.
Rob joins Entec with over 17 years experience in environmental and engineering consultancy related to clients in the built environment. Most recently Rob was a commercial director with Enviros and prior to that, the Business Development Director at WSP Environmental. He has also held senior commercial roles with Norton Rose and WRc.
Rob's technical background is in environmental science and public health engineering applied in his earlier career into contaminated land and waste management projects, complemented by a more recent part MBA.
