Entec Guide to Sustainability Appraisal

Entec has launched a new guide to sustainability appraisal as part of the Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) Tomorrow Series.

Sustainability appraisals help to ensure that plans, strategies and proposals take the principles of sustainable development into account. The Guide outlines how to make effective use of sustainability appraisals with a summary of the tasks involved at key stages in the process.
The future of sustainability appraisals is also discussed. The Guide includes case study examples from the draft London Plan, Stansted airport and Chelmsford Local Plan.

Entec Director, Clive Harridge says: "Sustainability appraisals help put sustainable development at the heart of planning.
