As a result, the SEAM project not only ensured Entec picked up the British Consultancy of the Year Award in 1999 but also the European Union Environment Award in 2000 in the category 'International Partnerships for Sustainable Development'.
In addition to his SEAM activities, Phil also chairs the EU Environment Group, which seeks to improve coordination and quality of EU Member States and EC programmes and to draw on the lessons of these projects to contribute to Egyptian national policy.
