This one day conference which was held on 13 April 2005 at Austin Court, Birmingham, helped provide delegates with practical examples of regional spatial strategies, sub regional strategies and LDFs, while identifying current best practice and techniques in strategic environmental assessment and sustainability appraisal.
The RTPI organised and Entec sponsored event attracted over 140 delegates, many of which came from regional bodies and local authorities who are commissioning SEA work.
Promoted within the east and west midlands by the RTPI branches and nationally by IEMA and the RTPI Environmental Planning and Protection network, the conference was well received by delegates with official feedback being very positive.
