Carbon Trust Publish Entec EU ETS Analysis
The first verified results for the EU Emissions Trading Scheme were published on 15th May 2006, covering 2005 emissions for the trading scheme. Given the confusion surrounding the numbers released, the Carbon Trust Investor Engagement programme commissioned Entec UK to provide a thorough review of these results, drawing out key messages for investors and corporates. The work covers headline conclusions across all 25 Member States, and a detailed sectoral drill down for 5 countries – UK, Germany, France, Austria and Netherlands.
