AMP4 - From Directive to Delivery

Asset Management Plans 4 (AMP4) is a key milestone in the water industry, defining the huge investment requirements for the industry over the next 5 years.

In a forum for exploring the practicalities of the implementation of particular directives and their impact on the water sector within the context of AMP4, Entec is supporting a conference called AMP4 from Directive to Delivery on 8th December 2004 at the Royal College of Physicians, London.

The conference offers the opportunity to hear and question leading industry professionals on a range of issues surrounding the implementation of directives at strategic level and their impact on the associated water company assets.

Attendees will also gain an overview of the legal framework policy development and delivery, the benefits of collaborating in the planning process and an update on risk-based asset management.

The event is being chaired by Dr Peter Spillett, Head of Environment, Quality and Sustainability at Thames Water Utiltities and the keynote speaker is Sarah Thomas, Partner at Masons. Speakers are from Defra, Entec, Thames Water Utilities, Southern Water, the Environment Agency and Northumbrian Water.

The conference is being organised by Terence Dalton, with technical support from Entec. For full details of the conference programme, venue and booking details (including a registration form), download the brochure AMP4 From Directive to Delivery.
