Statements of Community Involvement
BURA, in association with ODPM, are holding a programme of seminars to promote awareness and discussion on the requirements for Statements of Community Involvement (SCIs) contained in the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and the implications for all associated stakeholders.
The seminars are being sponsored by English Partnerships, Entec and Camargue and are being held over four dates:
London – Monday 28th February
Leeds – Wednesday 2nd March
Warrington – Tuesday 8th March
Birmingham – Thursday 10th March
The seminars will be of particular interest to anyone concerned with the preparation and implementation of Local Development Frameworks, community representatives and organisations who should be involved in the planning consultation process and property owners and developers, their advisers and others concerned with or affected by the preparation and submission of planning proposals.
