Red Nose Day 2005

Thanks to all the Entec staff who participated in what turned out to be a highly successful and enjoyable fund-raising effort for Red Nose Day 2005.

The main event turned out to be Simon’s ‘Best and Worst Look’ competition that took place in all the Entec offices. The competition showed Simon’s head placed on various characters bodies, ranging from the queen to superman.

In Gosforth there was also an Easter chocolate raffle, with chocolate being donated by young Emma Reaston after she had saved her hard earned pocket money. Floor 4 decided to be civilised with a coffee morning, while others went a bit wild, namely Doug Kay with his red spikey hair do.

At the Reading office where everyone had to wear something red Sue Marsh, who didn’t have anything red in her wardrobe, decided to get fully immersed in the spirit of red nose day and dressed head to toe in a red Elmo outfit that she had made for her son.

We also had had a number of budding bakers who sold their scones, cakes and biscuits, all of which helped in raising a magnificent total of £927.64 for Comic Relief 2005.
