Entec at the CIWEM Third National Conference
Entec is providing two speakers for the CIWEM Third National Conference, being held from the 6th – 8th September 2005 at Bretton Hall, Wakefield. The conference will cover numerous issues, from water supply to odour control to flooding and drainage, and attract delegates from throughout the water and environmental management industry.
Pete Davis and Mike Barker will be presenting a paper to the conference on Wednesday 7th August on the “Comparison of Approaches to Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) within the Water Sector”. This paper seeks to summarise and review implementation of SEA within water management by comparing current approaches and methodologies for SEA that have been used within the Environment Agency’s draft Catchment Flood Management Plans (CFMPs), and the Water Companies Water Resource Plans (WRPs).
The conference is a significant opportunity for those active in the industry to share their knowledge, views and experience for the benefit of all those who attend.
