Let it Rock
In April, Entec had its very own rock group take to the stage and perform live to a sell out crowd at the Newcastle Companions Club. About ninety people actually turned up to the gig to support, dance along to – or stare in amazement at - the 4 piece combo collectively known as SUS4.
The “boys” in the band, Russ Charnock, Garry Edward, Dave Hume and Dave Olsen soon had people dancing along to rock classics like Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Rebel Rebel, Wishing Well, Hotel California etc. The repertoire also included Pink Floyd’s Money, The Beatles’ Come Together, and Eric Clapton’s Cocaine. Something for everyone then (if you’re a certain age). Of course ‘it was all for charity mate’ with £175 going to WaterAid.
Many thanks to the band for an enjoyable evening all-round
and hopefully we will see them at another venue shortly.
