Energy in a Carbon Constrained World
The next event of the North Western and North Wales branch of the Energy Institute will take place on Thursday 22 February 2007 at 18.00. The topic is 'Energy in a Carbon Constrained World: Everything but Nuclear?’ and will be presented by Nick Wood from Entec.
The objective of Nick's talk will be to present an overview of the range of options that are available as sources of low carbon energy without developing reliance on large-scale centralised generation. The talk will cover a range of different strategies that could be used to supply energy to the industrial, domestic and transport sectors. Information will be presented on the economic, social and climate change impacts of the different strategies using information from current UK, EU and OECD policy research.
The event will be held at Entec's premises at Windsor House Gadbrook Business Centre, Gadbrook Rd, Northwich.
