Entec at European Water and Wastewater Management Conference

Entec is attending and presenting at the forthcoming European Water and Wastewater Management Conference. Paul Minto will be delivering a presentation on ‘First Time Sewage Treatment on a heritage coastline’ and Tom Lloyd on ‘Billingham STW/Transfer Scheme’.

The scheme was developed with the aim of finding a cost effective way to discharge fully treated and disinfected effluent away from an internationally important bird reserve.

Both Entec staff are appearing on Monday 24th September alongside other speakers discussing new wastewater treatment plants.

The conference will be held at St. James’ Park in the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and runs from 24th – 26th September. Delegates can catch up with latest debate on energy saving strategies, asset management, odour management and much more. As well as presentations there will be workshops, an exhibition and a special session for young engineers. Social events have also been organized including a tour of Newcastle’s Chinatown and a dinner at the Baltic centre’s Riverside restaurant.
