Entec at CIWEM 2007 – The Global Environment
Entec’s Claire Barnett presented at CIWEM’s 5th Annual Conference, Global Challenges, Global Solutions, held in London from 9th – 11th October. Claire’s presentation Footprints in water was part of the Sustainable Water Industry session and looked at the challenging opportunity for the UK water sector to understand and go low carbon.
The Global Environment event covered flood risk management, climate change, urbanisation, faiths, the Olympics, the role of artists in achieving sustainability, integrated environmental management, European Directives, water and waste management and horizon scanning. It was the ideal opportunity to engage with those who are leading the debate on the key challenges of our time, helping delegates gain new perspectives, forge new relationships and accelerate their learning.
