Environmental Appraisal

Development and commercial activity has the potential to create both positive and negative effects on its environment. These effects can be numerous and arise from, among other things, changes in land use, the introduction of new buildings or features and emissions to land, water or air. These varied effects on the natural and human environment can arise during construction, operation or de-commissioning stages of a project.

Taking adequate account of such effects, and ensuring their effective integration with commercial aspirations is essential to successful and sustainable scheme delivery.
